The use of camera traps allows us to monitor wildlife without disturbance and once in a while some remarkable behaviour is caught on film. In this video clip, a female Pine Marten is obviously in the wrong place at the wrong time and the local Tawny Owl doesn’t like her being there. Tawny Owls are known to be quite aggressive and this attack may be an indication that there may be some owlets nearby.
